WHAT PROTOCOLS ARE SUPPORTED?
Voice-over-IP (VoIP) allows users to carry voice traffic (for example, telephone calls and faxes) over an IP network. You may be curious about what sorts of protocols CallN natively works with. The good news is that CallN will work with almost any modern VoIP protocol in existence as well as some older VoIP protocols, so chances are excellent CallN will work for you.
The following VoIP protocols are currently supported by CallN:

VoIP (Voice Over IP) is the protocol used for the call control part of the VoIP call.

RTP PROTOCOLS
RTP (Real-time Transport Protocol) is the protocol used to stream the media part of the VoIP call.
CallN supports the following audio codecs encoded in the audio stream:
- G.711 A-law / G.711 Mu-law

- G.729
- GSM 6.10
- iLBC
- Speex
- L16
